Ryan Hamilton & The Traitors release single ‘We Never Should Have Moved To LA’ ahead of new album

Transatlantic rock n’ roll band Ryan Hamilton & The Traitors have released ‘We Never Should Have Moved To LA’, their ode to love-gone-wrong in the City of Angels.

The naughty new track arrives with pop hooks, driving Weezer-esque guitars and a dancing Stormtrooper video (because what’s more Hollywood than Star Wars?!).

Led by Texan troubadour and former Smile Smile frontman Ryan Hamilton, the band will also release their eagerly anticipated new album ‘The Devil’s In The Detail’ on the same day.

After sold-out US and UK tours, collaborations with Ginger Wildheart and Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick, the fresh material showcases Hamilton’s knack for earworms alongside his new band’s rock n’ roll dynamism

Hamilton says: “I’ve never understood the urge to move to Hollywood to try and ‘make it’.

“I mean why would you go to the place populated with more ‘artists’ trying to ‘make it’ than anywhere else on Earth?

“Seems so silly for struggling artists to pack up and move there. Regardless, it’s a story that happens time and time again.

“It’s a story that can be spun 100 different ways, and I’m really happy with the story I told in We Never Should Have Moved to LA. Plus, has anyone else ever had a ‘see you next Tuesday’ sing-a-long in the chorus? No? I didn’t think so!”
